Pick the bus size that fits your group

Buses come in more sizes than most people expect. Booking a 56 seat coach for 22 people wastes money. Squeezing 30 people into a 24 seat minibus ruins the trip. Tell us your headcount and luggage, and we match you to the smallest bus that fits comfortably. That is how you get the best price.

Toronto bus charter sizes at a glance
Bus type Seats Luggage Best for
Minibus 20 to 24 20 large suitcases Small tours, wedding parties, shuttle loops
Midsize shuttle bus 30 to 36 30 large suitcases School and sports teams, mid size tour groups
Coach bus 40 to 48 Full underfloor bays Tour groups, conferences, long trips
Full size coach 50 to 56 Full underfloor bays Full tour buses, airport arrivals with heavy luggage

Minibus rental for 20 to 24 passengers

The 20 passenger minibus is the most booked bus in our lineup. It fits through hotel driveways that a full coach cannot enter, and it costs a lot less to run. Every seat has a window. Luggage rides in a rear compartment, so nobody holds a suitcase on their lap. If your group is 15 to 24 people, this is almost always the right call.

Midsize bus for 30 to 36 passengers

The middle child of the fleet, and honestly the best value per seat. A 30 or 36 passenger bus carries a full sports team with equipment, or three large families travelling together. It has the same high backed seats as a coach without the coach price. Most wedding shuttle bookings end up in this size.

Coach bus for 40 to 56 passengers

Inside a full size coach: reclining seats, air conditioning, and a washroom at the back.

For full tour groups, the 56 passenger coach is the standard. Reclining seats, air conditioning, a washroom on board, and underfloor bays that hold a suitcase for every seat. On a Pearson Airport pickup this matters more than people think. Fifty six travellers land with at least fifty six bags. A coach swallows all of it in one load.

What every bus charter includes

The quote we send is the full price. Here is what sits inside that number:

Gratuity for the driver is not included and is always your choice. Most groups tip 10 to 15 percent when the driver has done a good job.

Where our bus charters go

Most bookings start or end at Toronto Pearson Airport, but the bus goes wherever your plans go.

How much does it cost to rent a bus in Toronto?

Short answer: minibuses start around $150 per hour and full size coaches around $210 per hour, usually with a 4 to 5 hour minimum. Airport transfers and Niagara trips are priced as flat rates instead of hourly, which almost always works out cheaper for a one way ride. The pricing page shows current starting rates for every vehicle, and your written quote is always the final word.

Two things move the price more than anything else: the bus size and the date. A Saturday in wedding season costs more than a Tuesday in November. Booking three or more weeks ahead gets you the best rate because the good buses are still available.

How to book your bus charter

  1. Send your date, headcount, pickup point, and destination through the quote form.
  2. We reply with the recommended bus size and a flat, all in price.
  3. Approve the quote and your bus is locked in. We confirm the driver and pickup details the day before the trip.

Group of 14 or fewer? You probably do not need a bus. Our Sprinter vans seat 10 to 14 with full luggage and cost less than any minibus.
